Happy October 2017

This is definitely my favorite time of year.

Whether you celebrate Halloween, Samhain, or simply that big-ole Harvest Moon, there’s a shift in the weather today. Summer’s oppressive heat gives way to milder temperatures. The sky seems brighter. The leaves on the trees are starting to turn colors. Fall festivals are popping up everywhere, and campfires and pumpkin-spiced lattes are all the rage.

What’s your favorite part of Autumn?

I set my latest book at the end of October. I’ll share more details soon, like the cover, and the soon-to-be-announced release date. I can’t wait for you all to meet Samantha (Sam) and Max. Their adventures are amazing, their romance is steamy, and their story was so much fun to write.

Bonnie Gill

In the meantime, I want to introduce you to my amazing critique partner and writing collaborator Bonnie Gill. She’s writing a humorous paranormal romance series, and I gotta tell you, her books are a blast to read. Her characters are rich, well-developed, and they always get into situations that make me laugh out loud. It’s how they handle those story situations that keep me coming back for more. I think you’ll like her work.

The second book in Bonnie’s L.A.M.P.S. series, Pursuing the Light releases October 11, 2017. It’s available for pre-order now, and I wanted to share it with all of you. You can find Bonnie’s books on Amazon.

L.A.M.P.S. hunter Leif Gunther grew up as an only child. He has a system for keeping order in his life while hunting Cryptids. He enjoys the solitude and quiet the job provides. Until a chatty redhead is assigned to assist him in his quest for the pack of Goochies terrorizing West Virginia and his systemized life gets turned upside down.

Cleaning up after Cryptids is not Holly McClure’s favorite job. She’d rather be hunting like her four brothers. Her boss pairs her with the same man who stole her hunter spot. Now she has an opportunity to show she’s a better hunter. Not to mention she has to keep her fairy godmother, who just happens to be a Sheepsquatch, a secret from Leif.

Leif just has three rules. Keep quiet, stay out of my way, and don’t touch my stuff. Too bad Holly can’t help breaking them repeatedly. Drawn together by the chase, Leif and Holly find that if they work together they make a great hunting team and their passion grows as they pursue their prey.

And, if you’d like to read the first book in Bonnie’s series, Tempting the Light, here’s the details. It’s available in e-book format, and paperback.

Tempting the Light, Bonnie Gill, Paranormal Romance, humorous, Jersey Devil, LAMPS, garden gnome,

Bad luck magnet Abby Fitzpatrick gets fired, catches her boyfriend cheating with a mime, and is cursed by an evil genie who pops out of a tampon box. She’s bound and determined to remove the spell and, as fate would have it, the hottest guy she’s ever met is out to kill her.

River Stone, a Cryptid hunter for Legends and Myths Police Squad (L.A.M.P.S.), poses as sheriff for Abby’s hometown of Haber Cove, New Jersey. He’s out to find and capture a man-eating gnome and bag the legendary Jersey Devil monster. Little does he realize, the woman who catches his heart is the same creature that he was sent to destroy.

Tempting the Light is the first novel in the L.A.M.P.S. series that features hunky secret agents who find true love while hunting and slaying dangerous Cryptids.
